Lift
Lift: The Last Days of the Westwind is an interactive VR narrative adventure, in which you take on the role of the Westwind Hotel’s final elevator operator, guiding the lives of its patrons through action and gesture as the historic hotel nears the end of its life. Operate a fully interactive elevator, meet fascinating characters, and make decisions that change their lives, and the fate of the hotel forever.
The player navigates the world through levers that move the elevator up and down and open the doors to let patrons inside. Once the patrons are inside, the player can nod their head for yes, shake their head for no, or give or take items to and from the patrons. Lift started out as a way to embrace the virtual reality medium by having a small place that would contain the user so they wouldn't get motion sickness through locomotion. The goal is to bring the story to the player through quirky characters and interesting mechanics.

Sadly, we will not be releasing Lift in 2019.
We were waiting to the last minute to see if it was possible, but with only 1 day left in the year, I think we’re going to call it here. All joking aside, we’re still in active development and have made tremendous progress in the last year. We all work on Lift part-time, we all have other jobs and responsibilities but are determined to release a great game in the near future.
